MRS. S. M. HEATON
HARTWELL, Ga. Feb. 14 - Mrs. S. M. Heaton, well known woman of the Cross Roads community, died at her home Wednesday following an ilness of only a few days.
Mrs. Heaton was 68 years old and the wife of R. H. Heaton. She was a native of Anderson county, S. C. but had made her home in Georgia for the greater portion of her life. She was a member of Cross Roads church of Hart county.
Surviving her the following children: J. E. Johnson, of Florida; R. A. Johnson, of Greenville, S. C.; Mrs. R. C. Stone, of Anderson, S. C.; J. H. Johnson, W. C. Johnson, and C. E. Johnson, all of Georgia.
Funeral services will be held from Cross Roads church at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon, with the Rev. Mr. Lunsford conducting the services. Following the last rites here, the body will be laid to rest in the Lebanon cemetery in Anderson county, S. C.
