United Daughters of the Confederacy:
Entered the service of the Confederate States on the __ day of September, 1863, as a Private in Company E of the 3rd Battalion Ga Reserve. He was a resident of Upson County, Ga. He was honorably discharged from said service by Parole in Macon, Ga. after the 26th day of April, 1865, at which time he held the rank of 2nd Sergeant.
